Monthly benefit deposit schedule.

What day are benefits loaded?

For cases AFTER October 2017, benefits are made available for new households between the 1st and the 10th based on the month based on the last digit of the Head of Household Individual ID number.

(For example, if the last digit is 1, it means benefits loaded 1st of the month. If the last digit is 0, then benefits will be loaded the 10th of the month.)

For cases started BEFORE October 2017, they keep the deposit dates they had previously (can be the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 13th, 17th, or 20th.)

What time are benefits loaded?

Analyzing data from some of the 5 million users who check their balance on the Propel App every month, we estimate close to 100% of people have their benefits loaded at midnight in Illinois.
