Does ALDI take WIC?

No, ALDI does not accept WIC at any of its locations. According to the ALDI website, that’s because WIC only covers name-brand infant formulas and ALDI only offers Little Journey, its store brand of formula, which is not covered by WIC.

Although ALDI does not accept WIC, you can use SNAP at every ALDI location, and many people who get WIC also receive SNAP benefits.

Not every grocery store accepts WIC. According to the USDA, states are only required to authorize enough stores to make sure WIC participants have access to their approved foods, which means some stores in your area may not accept WIC.

If you’re having trouble figuring out where to use your WIC benefits, most states provide a list or database of the stores that accept WIC.

New York and Connecticut offer lists of every approved WIC vendor in the state, while Oregon and Texas have WIC apps that allow users to search for WIC-approved vendors nearby.

The best way to find out which stores in your area accept WIC is to check your state’s WIC website for a list of approved vendors. If you aren’t able to find the information you need online, you can also call individual stores to verify whether or not they accept WIC.
